Dake Traphagen. Guitar is a 1990 Ponce model, BRSC, Brazilian Rosewood, Spruce top, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, slight radius to the fingerboard. All French Polish, and Rodriquez style bracing.

Type: Classical Guitar
Year of Construction: 1990
Scale: 655mm
Nut Width: 52.2 mm
Top: Italian Spruce
Bracing: Fan
Back / Sides: Brazilian Rosewood
Fingerboard: Ebony

Sound: Warm, rich basses, very traditional, fat trebles with substantial volume, the best sounding clear guitar I have ever had.
Condition: A few minor dings and nail marks on the top and a few on the back of the neck, as you would expect on an instrument of this vintage. Overall, very good. Fingerboard 53 mm at 1st fret, 63.6 at 12th fret. Body depth at heel 3 ½ “, at end 3 ¾ “ Body upper bout 11 ¼ , lower bout 14 ½ . 1 tiny superficial crack on treble side of top along the fingerboard. Very hard to see and stable for years. Some small checkering on the treble side of the neck.

Price: $4650.00 USD

Location: Seattle Wa. USA sales only. No scams or phony deals.

The woods are astounding. The tone is very very traditional. Think Manual Rodriguez like Kanengeiser plays. The price includes nice hard case.

The overall guitar price brings Brazilian Rosewood into the realm of possibility for many. This guitar would sell for roughly $9,000 new (according to Dake). US sales only due to Brazilian rosewood.
